Meg & Mollie
"When I decided to build out a van and move into it with my daughter I was terrified to say the least. As a single mother with a steady income and health benefits at the time the thought of risking it all to live in a van was scary.
It came down to one question.
Am I more afraid to take the leap or more afraid of not taking it and living with regret?
I took the leap.
The leap I took opened countless doors and opportunities to see new places, make new friendships and connect on a deeper level with not only other people but also myself and my daughter.
The leap allowed me to create this platform and go even further with my dream.
My dream is to inspire WOMXN no matter how they identify to speak and live their truth. To take their leap and support them in doing so.
At some point in all of our lives we were told to be quiet, to hush. This silenced the wild we have in all of us and I'm here to remind you it is still there.
Be wild, be free, be kind, be bold. Be whatever the f@ck you want to be, live how ever you want to live. Raise your children however you want to raise your children. Or be the womxn who breaks free of conditioning and chooses not to have children at all.
Whatever the case, whoever you are, my promise is to always help Keep Womxn Wild."
Hey, I'm Aubrey- a leathersmith that lives full time out of my self-renovated Toyota Dolphin.
I hit the road to see if I could hack it by myself, to find where my limits are, and experience every bit of beauty that I could along the way. And you know what? I’m doing it! I am hacking it! HOWEVER, the one thing I’ve noticed is that people are constantly saying “oh, you aren’t traveling with anyone? Isn’t that scary?”
Honestly, no… Am I supposed to be scared? I felt myself starting to worry a bit more when I would lay down at night. Is there something out there that I should be afraid of? Is that an axe murderer outside of my rig or is it just a squirrel?
I’m not mad that people ask me that- I think they say it from a good place of concern, but I’m over it. Would they be saying the same thing if I was a dude?
That’s why I am here. I want to shift that. Whether it’s surfing, skating, starting a new business, or whatever it is that pushes your limits and keeps you wild. You don’t need to feel afraid. You can do this.
Hello I'm Jessy! I live in a 1978 RV and have been full time on the road since October of 2017.
Living on the road has been filled with beauty and amazing adventures, but to say it's been easy would be a lie. Break downs, tough hikes, terrifying drives...time and time again, I've had to sit down right in the middle of not knowing if I could do something and do it anyway. It's shown me just how strong and resilient I really am and I'm incredibly grateful for that.
Sharing my story publicly has made me aware that we still have a long way to go when it comes to misogyny and female empowerment. I didn't realize it would become such an integral part of my journey but I’m honored it has. It's so important that we continue to challenge gender norms and fight oppression.
I’m here to tell you that whatever it is that beckons to the truest part of you, go after it. You can break free from the narrative society has written for you and write your own. You are a wild womxn and capable of conquering unimaginable things.
Hi Goddess! I’m Hannah and I live with my wonderful partner, Chevy and our sweet doggo, Tex, in a 2012 Sprinter Van.
We’ve been enjoying full-time travel since November 2018, and honestly - I’m enjoying it more and more as time progresses.
For me, Vanlife is the fearless pursuit of becoming myself. This lifestyle has given me the time and the space to discover and align more fully with who I truly am outside of the constraints of societal expectations or norms.
I made the scary decision to leave my job as a Registered Nurse to pursue something that brings joy to my soul.
It is my mission in life to empower women to recognize and fall in love with who they really are, the magic that exists within them, and how to share that magic with the world in an authentic and soul-aligned way.
Recently, I have found myself empowering women to believe in their badassery and create truly soul-nourishing lives and businesses. In the spirit of sharing more of my own magic - I am working towards making mobile, magically spiritual birth doula services available on my travels.
So, I wonder what it is you want to create with this incredible life you have been blessed with? Whatever your answer is, know that is already within you, just waiting to be expressed.
Listen to your intuition, unlearn everything that society has taught you about what you can’t do, speak your truth, rewild, and trust that you have a whole pack of wild womxn supporting you on this journey.
Hi, my name is Amanda Marie and I live in a 2018 Ford DIY van named Crystal 2.0! I am a traveling artist, bartender, vlogger, and influencer.
I have been living on the road full time for over a year spreading love and positivity, while inspiring womxn to be strong and courageous.
I believe that womxn are some of the strongest beings, and with every experience, both the good and the bad, we grow as individuals every single day.
My goal in life is to try everything I have always wanted to, make mistakes, learn from them, grow as an individual, in a community, as a company, and to inspire others to do the same.
You create your own life, you are beautiful, smart, and strong, you are wild & free!
Hi beauties! I’m Rylee, a small-town girl with big dreams!
Coming from a small town (and staying here pretty well all my life), has made it easy to fall into the social norms. Staying on the path mosttaken and thinking inside of the box, when truly, I knew so well that I could think outside of it!
It’s so easy to get lost in life’s expectations and forget YOU. Although I’ve always been passionate and felt I was destined for more than just the norm, I’ve also found it a struggle to stay inspired. I often feel like I’ve become stale and dry – and you know what? That’s okay!
What I’ve learned in the last two years of initiating my business, is that all the ups and downs you experience are just fuel. And all it takes it one spark! One spark of inspiration that can turn something stale and dry into a fire burning so deep that no one can stop it!
I’m here to help show womxn that support is a beautiful thing! Because life isn’t always easy, or perfect, or rainbows and butterflies. It can be ruthless. It can be daunting. But when womxn support each other, their wildest dreams can be achieved!
Behind every successful womxn, is a shit ton of other womxn saying, “F@ck Ya!”
Hi! I am Tanja and I have lived nomadically since 2012 with my boyfriend Lenny. Back then we decided that we wanted to take a gap year before going to college. But after one year of adventures, another one followed and we kept doing this year after year. At some point I realized that it was not just a transitioning phase, it was actually the way I wanted to live!
Over the past one and a half years I've followed my creative passion and have turned it into my livelihood. I am now an illustrating artist, entrepreneur and the creator of the BreakAwayTribe, which is a world wide community of people exploring alternative living spaces.
This has connected me to so many rad womxn from all around the world. Hearing their stories and seeing how they follow their dreams has motivated me to keep following mine.
I've learned that we should never follow other peoples expectations. Life is too short and precious, to walk a path, that isn't true to one self. With determination and hard work, you can find your own way and make your life anything that you want.
It might be daunting, but know that you're not alone: I and other womxn are here for you. We will support each other on our quests for adventure, fulfillment and happiness!
Hey, I'm Madison. A business womxn and nomad. I've been traveling & working in my DIY Sprinter Campervan since February 2018.
I hit the road to empower and free myself. To live life on my own terms and build a life I don't need a vacation from.
Participating in student government, obtaining a B.MGMT degree, managing brands, consulting, and owning my own businesses ensures I'm regularly reminded of two things:
1. A small group of womxn paved the way, providing the platform that made me know eight could push back on gender roles. They gave us the foundation.
2. More womxn have more work to do. We need to keep building.
I've been the only womxn in an office, I've been told "womxn are filled with useless opinions so I just ignore them". I've pushed back on what "womxn are supposed to do". I cheer womxn on in negotiating pay and fighting the corporate glass ceiling. I encourage womxn to challenge the gender role influences in their own relationships. I want young womxn to know they can do it. Whatever it is.
That's why I'm here. I want Keep Womxn Wild to be a voice and a platform to inspire, encourage and empower womxn.
